Our solution is built on the Microsoft Azure platform, with all data (including backups) securely hosted within the UK. The database is protected with 256-bit encryption, and all data is encrypted and decrypted in real time during read and write operations to ensure maximum security.
We also offer Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) using either Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, configurable at the organization level. This security feature is included at no additional cost as part of the core solution.
We also offer Microsoft 365 login integration, enabling you to apply your own security policies to protect user identities when this module is purchased. This functionality leverages Azure Entra Identity, allowing users to authenticate using their existing email addresses and passwords, none of which are stored within our systems.
For our mobile applications, your device will be registered upon first login, with a maximum of two devices per user. This allows the use of biometric authentication for system access, enhancing both security and user convenience.
The solution’s front-end is internet-facing to enable community midwives to access it from any location. However, the back end remains securely protected and is only accessible through IP-restricted connections originating from the front-end. This architecture ensures robust security by preventing unauthorized access while maintaining the flexibility needed for remote care delivery.

We will soon offer the ability for your organization to manage and retain its own encryption keys. This enhancement ensures that you maintain full control over your data and private keys. Additionally, if required, you will have the option to mirror your data to a location of your choice for added redundancy and compliance.
