Configuration Options Available.

For all NHS Trusts we recommend where possible to do Option C, Customer Hosted as this will keep all data within the trust boundry.

Option A

Full Hosted Solution (Giraffe Azure Tenant)

A Full Hosted deployment means the entire platform is provisioned and operated within the dedicated Giraffe Azure tenant.
The environment is fully managed, secure, and logically isolated from any other customer or workload.

What’s included :-

Compute & Web Services: Application services, APIs, and background jobs hosted and monitored in Azure.
Data Platform: Azure SQL/Storage with encrypted data at rest and in transit, plus retention policies.
AI Services: Managed Azure OpenAI/Cognitive components, with role-based access and usage governance.
Data Ingestion: Secure pipelines for importing customer data (batch and real-time) with auditing.
Backup & Recovery: Automated backups, tested restore procedures, and documented RPO/RTO targets.
Security & Compliance: Network isolation, identity and access management via Entra ID, logging, and threat protection.

Commercial model

All Azure hosting and platform services are included in the pricing model. You are not billed separately by Microsoft; hosting, operations, and support are wrapped into the service fee.

Option B

Semi-Hosted Solution
(Giraffe Azure Tenant) &
Customer Azure Tenant

A Semi-Hosted deployment means that Part of the platform is provisioned and operated within the dedicated Giraffe Azure tenant.
The Hosted part of the environment is fully managed, secure, and logically isolated from any other customer or workload, The Customer part of the solution will be fully managed, secure, and logically isolated from any other customer services.

With this option, you can host which ever parts of our solution you want either side.

Commercial model

Some Azure hosting and platform services are included in the pricing model. You are not billed separately by Microsoft; hosting, operations, and support are wrapped into the service fee.
The parts of the solution which are hosted by the customer as charged direct to the customer and will not be costed into the solution by us.

Option C

Customer Hosted Solution
Customer Azure Tenant

A Customer Hosted deployment means that all of the platform is provisioned and operated within a subscription inside the customers tenant.
The Subscription will be fully managed, secure, and logically isolated from any other services or workload,
